Meet Our Staff Larry Phillips Tennessee State-Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser FHA Certified Appraiser Appraisal Institute Conservation Easement Certificate Holder Associate Member Appraisal Institute NC Professional Appraisers Coalition member Please call for additional license information 336-246-5700 Before purchasing AA&G Appraisal Services, Inc., Larry who is retired from the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development was responsible for commercial lending and loan servicing involving complex community service loans and grants. He also worked with Real Estate Appraisals from early 1973 until 1986, processing appraisals within established guidelines during this time period. Larry's experience includes loans for residential purchases, residential construction, remodeling, etc., farm land and farm equipment lending, apartment communities, community water and sewer systems, fire trucks and equipment, commercial buildings (libraries, hospitals, town facilities, and fire stations to name a few). When Licensing of appraisers became necessary, Larry was involved in complex loan processing and loan servicing and did not obtain his appraisal license. Upon retirement, Larry obtained his appraiser trainee license and worked through the education and experience necessary to become a State-Certified Residential Appraiser, and is now working toward a General Appraiser Certificate, to be obtained in the near future. One of the more interesting appraisal opportunities to become available in 2007 is that of the Conservation Easement Certificate program provided by the Appraisal Institute. Larry attended this class at the earliest time that it was available, and passed the class and now holds a Certificate in Conservation Easement Appraisal education. Sandra Phillips Is the office manager and research assistant who helps to keep things moving properly. Sandra has considerable experience and expertise and works exceptionally hard to make every caller know that their call and business are important to our office. Our office is small, but we are associated with other appraisers and professionals who help us to provide quality products in a timely manner. |
